Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Linux DevOps Engineer

ECI, a leading global provider of managed services, cybersecurity, and business transformation, is seeking an experienced Senior Linux DevOps Engineer to join our London team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, testing, and maintaining the Kubernetes clusters, storage systems, network configurations, and development tools that support our applications and services in the financial sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and manage core Linux infrastructure on bare metal
  • Implement security best practices and disaster recovery planning
  • Administer Kubernetes clusters and configure network settings
  • Integrate Grafana and Prometheus with Kubernetes clusters
  • Test and performance-tune Kubernetes clusters
  • Install and troubleshoot Calico Enterprise
  • Manage storage systems and volumes in Kubernetes
  • Configure and manage Linux networking and BGP functionalities
  • Set up and manage traefik ingress controller
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or a similar role in a large enterprise environment
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and Linux
  • Deep expertise with Linux running on premise host
  • Experience with VMware, NetApp, Calico, Grafana, Prometheus, and traefik
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as bash, python, or perl
  • Familiarity with development tools such as Helm, Ansible, and Terraform
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
