About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic Primary school team in Cardiff. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to achieve their full potential.

You will be working closely with our experienced teaching staff to deliver high-quality lessons and provide individualized support to students. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Support teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery
  2. Provide tailored support to students with SEN, promoting their academic and personal growth
  3. Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  4. Contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive school culture
  5. Keep accurate records and reports as necessary

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • High levels of energy and enthusiasm
  • Reliability and punctuality
