Claims Technical Expert

Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Claims professional to join our innovative and growing Non-Marine Claims team in Chelmsford, Essex. The right candidate will be responsible for managing complex claims, ensuring all claims are valid, processed and paid within agreed timescales, complying with required regulations.
The role involves providing value-added claims service to clients across a range of business areas, working collaboratively within the Broking teams and network of Global offices. Key Accountabilities include:
- Ensuring strong emphasis on client satisfaction, liaising with clients to resolve queries promptly.
- Maintaining accurate internal record systems and databases, adhering to regulative requirements and procedures.
- Developing expertise in complex technical matters and queries.
- Reviewing and managing claim statistics.
- Overseeing product issues affecting performance.
- Providing claim analytics, identifying trends and suggesting efficiencies based on data and analytics.
- Reviewing claims authority to ensure adequacy and coherence with business needs.
- Monitoring claims service performance and challenging where necessary to ensure client satisfaction.
- Reviewing cash-flow process and highlighting potential concerns.
- Managing service provider relationships and maintaining service levels.
- Developing business relationships with markets, clients and colleagues to provide optimal service.
- Sharing claims technical expertise and knowledge with team members to develop talent.
A competitive salary, £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, and benefits package is offered to attract the best candidate.
