Join Our Team at BMW Group Financial Services

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized IT Intern to join our team at BMW Group Financial Services in Farnborough. As an IT Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to innovation, change, and operations across various IT activities, providing services to the business and taking responsibility for specific research, planning, and implementation tasks under the guidance of senior team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support project portfolio with the implementation of projects from beginning to end, ensuring they meet customer needs.
  • Work in teams analyzing, developing, testing, and implementing IT solutions to satisfy current and future business needs.
  • Undertake support and maintenance activities for business applications, including documentation, compliance, operational improvement, and problem-solving.
  • Participate in wider BMW Group IT initiatives driven from headquarters.
  • Develop new skills and knowledge through training sessions and engage with the wider internship network.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build customer rapport quickly.
  • Ability to take ownership of problems and issues to proactively meet a resolution.
  • Team player with organizational skills and ability to work towards deadlines.
  • Knowledge and interest in the Financial Services and Automotive industry.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive annual salary of £23,700.
  • 27 days holiday per annum (pro rata to your contract).

  • Contracted working hours of 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
