As a Clinical Study Manager at Reckitt, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of clinical studies. Your expertise will be instrumental in building effective relationships with study teams, ensuring timely delivery, and driving the outsourcing process to select the best vendors for our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Outsourcing Manager for all clinical studies, ensuring agreed timelines are met.
  • Drive the outsourcing process by working with the Clinical and Quality teams to select suitable vendors.
  • Support the preparation of the scope of work, judging vendor suitability, and identifying and resolving business and legal issues.
  • Lead commercial and contractual communication and negotiations with vendors, securing optimal contractual terms and conditions.
  • Ensure contract management, including scope changes and reconciliations.
  • Report metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for outsourcing activities to the Clinical and Medical Leadership team, Quality & Compliance, and the R&D organization.
  • Perform line management tasks for direct reports, including team resourcing, development, and training.

Requirements:

  • Procurement experience or clinical development experience in a clinical or medical department in pharmaceutical/consumer healthcare/cosmetic industry or at a CRO or clinical vendor.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills, with a track record of capturing value and savings.
  • Knowledge of GCP/regulatory standards is advantageous.
  • Line management experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Contract development and management experience is essential.
