Job Title: Clinical Study Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Study Manager to join our team at Reckitt Benckiser LLC. As a key member of our Research and Development department, you will be responsible for managing clinical studies from start to finish, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the outsourcing process for clinical studies, building effective relationships with study teams and vendors.
  2. Drive the selection of suitable vendors, ensuring they meet the study and project requirements.
  3. Support the preparation of scope of work, judging vendor suitability, and identifying and resolving business and legal issues.
  4. Lead commercial and contractual communication and negotiations, securing optimal contractual terms and conditions for the company.
  5. Ensure contract management, including management of changes in scope and reconciliations.
  6. Report metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for outsourcing activities to the Clinical and Medical Leadership team, Quality & Compliance, and the R&D organization.
  7. Perform line management tasks for direct reports and others as required, including team resourcing, targeted personal and technical development, and training.
Requirements:
  1. Procurement experience or clinical development experience in a clinical or medical department in pharmaceutical/consumer healthcare/cosmetic industry or at a CRO or clinical vendor.
  2. Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills with a track record of capturing value and savings.
  3. Knowledge of GCP/regulatory standards is advantageous.
  4. Line management experience is advantageous but not essential.
  5. Contract development and management experience is essential.
  6. Strong computer literacy, including advanced Microsoft skills.
  7. Possesses good commercial acumen and negotiation skills, with broader sourcing knowledge and understanding of multi-step processes and the role of terms and conditions in managing corporate risk.
