Our client, a specialist Fine Art & Antiques Shipping Company based in the UK, is seeking to appoint an experienced Fine Art Packer.
This role requires handling and packing various types of fine art and securing it for safe transport. You will also prepare condition reports and photographs artworks and pick up/delivering a variety of artworks including paintings, sculptures, and high-value furniture of all descriptions.
Job Description:
- Duties:
- Installation/De-Installation of various fine art and furniture
- Inspecting artworks to determine how, where, when, or if to touch them and how to pack for transport
- Installing artworks professionally in settings ranging from corporate to residential properties
- Interacting with art professionals and collectors
- Efficiently handling paperwork including bills of lading, labelling, timesheets, and detailed condition reports with photos
Required Skills and Qualifications:
You must be physically fit and have the ability to work comfortably on ladders, scaffolding, or mechanized lifts. A professional appearance and demeanour are also required.
