Fire Safety Adviser Mentor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our Fire Safety Regulation Centre of Learning and Excellence as a mentor for our new Fire Safety Advisers (FSAs).
About the RoleAs a mentor, you will provide support to groups of FSAs, demonstrating best practice in fire safety audits and providing feedback and support as they carry out their initial audits. You will also coach FSAs through each audit stage, from pre-audit checks to conclusion, encompassing all supporting software, IT procedures, and data input.
Key Responsibilities- Provide mentorship to FSAs, promoting best practice in fire safety audits
- Coach FSAs through each audit stage, from pre-audit checks to conclusion
- Support FSAs in the use of supporting software, IT procedures, and data input
- Ensure FSAs maintain expected competence levels in fire safety regulations
We are looking for highly motivated and organised individuals with excellent communication skills who hold a minimum Level 4 certificate in fire safety. Ideally, you will have experience in fire safety auditing and mentoring.

EligibilityApplicants must have attained at least the Level 4 Certificate in Fire Safety (or equivalent qualification/experience). Internal LFB applicants must also be competent Fire Safety Advisers (Passed their probation period and stage 1 competent).
