Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking an exceptional Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Ifield School in Folkestone, Kent. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of tailored therapy sessions to pupils aged 4-19 with speech, language, and communication difficulties.
Job Summary:- To assist the Occupational Therapist in planning and delivering individualized therapy plans for pupils with complex needs.
- To provide direct support to pupils during therapy sessions, promoting independence, sensory regulation, and motor skills development.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a caring and patient approach to working with children with special needs. Previous experience in a similar role or knowledge of occupational therapy practices within schools is desirable.
