About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Retail Store Manager to join our team in Gravesend. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standard of customer service and achieving sales targets.

The successful candidate will have experience in a customer-facing role, supervisory skills, and a commercially driven approach to encourage new ideas. A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and achieving the highest retail standards is essential.

Job Requirements

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store. This includes inspiring and supporting staff and volunteers to deliver an excellent customer journey, ensuring the highest standard of visual merchandising, and maximising sales through physical and digital channels.

You will also support with the recruitment and development of volunteers, achieve expectations within campaign activities, and work with the manager to generate stock. Our stores are fast-paced and trade 7 days a week, requiring flexibility from our store teams to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.

This is a physically demanding role at times, but most rewarding as you play a part in helping to fund life-saving research.

Salary

The salary for this role is £40,000-£50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
