Transportation Specialist

About Us:
We are a well-established logistics company in the Midlands region, offering reliable and efficient transport solutions across the UK. Due to expansion, we are seeking a skilled and dependable Class 2 General Haulage Driver to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle for general haulage
- Transport goods to various locations across the UK
- Ensure timely deliveries and collections of a wide range of goods
- Load and unload vehicles when required (may involve manual handling)
- Conduct vehicle checks and report any defects
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Comply with all road transport legislation, including tachograph regulations

Requirements:
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous experience in general haulage preferred but not essential
- Excellent knowledge of UK road networks
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
