Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Accounts Assistant to join our team in Bristol.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing small portfolios of dormant accounts, ensuring completion to deadline. They will also prepare and/or review non-complex small company accounts and Corporation tax returns.

Additionally, they will draft more complex small company accounts to be passed for completion and review by a senior team member. Other responsibilities include basic dividend planning, drafting basic partnership and non-resident company tax returns for review prior to submission, and use of Xero for bookkeeping assistance and updating of clients records following accounts preparation.

The ideal candidate will have experience preparing Company accounts using accounting software, manage their own workload and be a flexible team-player with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare small portfolios of dormant accounts for completion to deadline
  • Prepare and/or review non-complex small company accounts and Corporation tax returns
  • Draft more complex small company accounts for completion and review by a senior team member
  • Basic dividend planning
  • Drafting basic partnership and non-resident company tax returns for review prior to submission
  • Use of Xero for bookkeeping assistance and updating of clients records following accounts preparation
Requirements:
  • AAT Level 3/4 or ACCA/ACA Part-Qualified
