About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Nazareth Care Charitable Trust. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To provide personalized care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities such as washing, dressing, and toileting.
  • To work collaboratively with the care team to monitor residents' health needs, identify areas for improvement, and implement care plans in line with their individual preferences and needs.
  • To provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting their dignity and well-being.
  • To maintain accurate and up-to-date records of residents' care, including progress notes and care plans.
  • To participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in care provision.

About You

We are looking for a caring and empathetic individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional care. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with residents, their families, and the care team. You will need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing your time efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in care provision, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of care principles and practices.
  • Willingness to undertake training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
