Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse to join our team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day support to the nursing team, leading by example and promoting high-quality patient care.
Main Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing leadership and guidance to the nursing team
- Reviewing and implementing standards of care on the unit
- Supporting the educational programme on the unit
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve high clinical standards
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Up-to-date knowledge of current clinical and professional issues
- Experience of teaching, assessing and supervising others in a clinical setting
- Previous post-registration experience within the relevant specialty
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
