We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Service for young people in West London. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist DBT to young people aged 12-18 who present with persistent self-harm and suicidal behaviour.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist DBT to young people, including assessment and intervention.
- Contribute to service evaluation, policy development, audit, evaluation, and research in the area of self-harm and emotional dysregulation.
- Provide clinical supervision, teaching, and consultation as appropriate.
- Manage a caseload of young people and provide specialist DBT interventions.
- Work in partnership with schools, social services departments, and other local and national services to support integrated practice and service delivery.
- Doctoral level training in clinical psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology.
- Eligible to work as a Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical/Counselling) as approved by the Health Care Professions Council.
- Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients across the full range of care settings.
- Experience of working with a wide variety of client groups, including children and adolescents and their families.
