We are seeking a skilled Panel Beater to join our team at the John Lewis Partnership. As a Panel Beater, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining our fleet of vehicles, ensuring they remain well-maintained and road-worthy.
Key Responsibilities:- Repair and replace damaged panels, using a range of techniques including welding, bonding, and filling.
- Carry out routine maintenance and modifications to vehicles, in line with manufacturer specifications.
- Work on a variety of vehicles, from 3.5 Tonne Delivery Vans to LGVs, Trailers, and HGVs.
- Collaborate with our experienced technicians to ensure the highest standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
- City and Guilds 1,2,3 Vehicle Body Repair or NVQ/QVS equivalent qualification.
- Previous working experience within a Panel Beater role.
- Full UK driving licence.
- A proven background in all aspects of panel beating, filling, fibreglassing, pin pulling, steel and aluminium MIG welding.
- A knowledge of commercial vehicle legislation and road-worthiness.
- Competitive salary of up to £42,700 per annum, with opportunities for overtime.
- 22 days paid holiday per year, increasing to 25 after 5-years service.
- A competitive pension scheme, with contributions matched by the Partnership (up to 8% of pay).
- Excellent work-life balance, including a focus on well-being and flexible working.
