Pharmaron Industrial Placement Programme

We are seeking highly motivated and talented students to join our dynamic team as Industrial Placement Students in Analytical Sciences. This 12-month placement offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a leading pharmaceutical R&D facility, working on cutting-edge projects in gene therapy.

About the Role

As an Industrial Placement Student, you will be part of our Analytical Development team, working on a variety of analytical assays, including plate-based assays and chromatography-based assays. You will have the opportunity to develop your technical and practical skills, as well as your communication and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct analytical assays, including PCR, ELISA, and chromatography-based assays
  • Develop and implement new analytical methods
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
  • Document and present results to the wider team
Requirements
  • Studying towards an undergraduate degree in Analytical or Medicinal Chemistry, life sciences
  • Predicted 1st or 2:1 degree classification
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
