About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Pathology Clinical Trials Team as a Research Assistant Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that supports the clinical research teams across the Tees Valley Research Alliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and report on quality audits and support the Pathology R+D Facilitator in the management and training of Pathology Healthcare Science Support Workers.
  • Work across specialties and be involved in a large and growing research team with opportunities for further development.
  • Develop research knowledge to provide ongoing support to all practitioners.
  • Develop skills such as consenting patients to delegated research studies and providing routine and non-routine information to patients.
  • Data collection, including data input into electronic databases and other administrative duties.
