Industrial Door Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Door Engineer to join our team at Work Lyf Group Ltd. The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience in industrial door works, with a strong focus on servicing, installing, and repairing industrial and specialist doors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out site attendance, fault finding, estimating repair requirements, fault diagnosis, and service calls for industrial doors.
  2. Advise customers on potential equipment faults and provide solutions.
  3. Maintain personal van stock levels and ensure accurate timesheet reporting.
  4. Complete reports, job sheets, and basic administration on mobile tablets.

Requirements:

  1. Hold relevant qualifications for industrial door works with previous experience.
  2. Have the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
  3. Be flexible with working hours, willing to work weekends and outside of business hours.
  4. Possess good customer service skills and be physically fit to work at heights.
  5. Have IPATH & CSCS, PASMA qualifications (desirable).
  6. Have previous fieldwork experience within the industry (essential).
  7. Be a team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Possess a driver's license (essential) and have electrical and mechanical skills.
