Industrial Door Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Door Engineer to join our team at Work Lyf Group Ltd in the North East of England.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out servicing, installation, and repair of industrial and specialist doors, including roller shutters, sectional overhead doors, and rapid rise roll-up doors.
  2. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of gates, bollards, and barrier systems.
  3. Conduct site attendance, fault finding, estimating repair requirements, fault diagnosis, and service calls.
  4. Provide expert advice to customers on potential equipment faults.
  5. Attend surveys for repairs and maintain accurate records.
  6. Ensure personal van stock levels are maintained and accurate timesheet reporting is completed.
  7. Complete reports, job sheets, and basic administration on mobile tablets.

Requirements:

  1. Hold relevant qualifications for industrial door works with previous experience.
  2. Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  3. Be flexible with working hours, willing to work weekends and outside of business hours.
  4. Possess excellent customer service skills.
  5. Be physically fit and able to work at heights.
  6. Hold IPATH & CSCS, PASMA qualifications (desirable).
  7. Have previous fieldwork experience within the industry (essential).
  8. Be a team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Possess a valid driver's license (essential).
  10. Have electrical and mechanical skills.

Salary: £50,000 per annum.
