An exciting opportunity has arisen for a caretaking role within our Environmental Services team at Stockport Homes Group.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and cleanliness of our buildings. You must deliver an excellent level of customer service, even in challenging situations, and communicate effectively with your manager and colleagues to ensure all work is completed efficiently.

You will work proactively on areas that require the most intensive cleaning, being flexible and open to change, and able to use IT applications to support our team's vision. You will also be responsible for maintaining adequate stock levels on site to ensure all cleaning and maintenance tasks can be carried out effectively.

Candidates for this role must:

Hold a full driving licence.

Be able to work flexibly across our 7-day working pattern.

Have a positive, enthusiastic approach to work and dealing with customers.

Have a good eye for detail, ensuring no job, however small, is overlooked.

Previous experience of working in a caretaking, cleaning, or high-reach window cleaning role is desirable, but not essential, as all relevant training will be given.

The successful applicant's appointment will be subject to satisfactory basic clearance by the Disclosure and Barring Service.
