Ackerman Pierce Ltd is seeking a Fire Safety Manager to join their team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to shape the organisation's approach to fire and building safety.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for establishing policies, procedures, and systems that ensure fire and building safety is managed effectively. They will also conduct regular site inspections, surveys, and audits of our buildings, particularly those that require assessments. Additionally, they will assist with our fire risk assessment programme and address actions with appropriate evidence.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective fire and building safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections, surveys, and audits to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Assist with the fire risk assessment programme and address identified actions.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on fire and building safety activities.
- Post-qualifying experience as a Fire Safety Manager within the UK.
- Managerial experience and eligibility to work in the UK.
- A competitive salary of £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
