**Job Overview**

The Highland Council is seeking a skilled Senior Financial Accountant to provide capital accounting support to our service areas and clusters. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial reporting processes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide capital accounting support to service areas and clusters
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement process improvements
  • Contribute to the development of financial policies and procedures

**Requirements:**

  • Extensive knowledge and experience of Local Government financial procedures
  • Qualified membership of a Professional Accounting body
  • HND in Accounting or equivalent qualification or relevant experience
