Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our technical team. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will provide technical support and ongoing project-based engineering work across our technology estate, including desktops, servers, networking, public cloud, and applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Operating Environments
    • Manage and maintain Windows, Linux, and Mac OS environments.
  • Provide Technical Support
    • Provide 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line technical support across the organization, both in-office and globally.
  • Manage Business Systems
    • Manage and administer order management systems, risk management systems, and other business-critical systems.
  • Administer Office365 and Databases
    • Administer Office365 and MySQL/PostgreSQL databases, and implement patch management for workstations and servers.
  • Manage Networking Infrastructure
    • Manage and maintain networking infrastructure, including CCNA-level networking and Palo Alto Firewalls.
  • Set up and Manage MDM and XDR Platforms
    • Set up and manage Intune/JAMF MDM and Microsoft XDR platforms.
  • Use Monitoring Tools
    • Use monitoring tools like PRTG, Grafana, OpenSearch, and Prometheus for system oversight.

Requirements

  • Technical Expertise
    • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Technical Support Engineer or Application Support Analyst.
    • Expertise in administering Windows, Linux, and Mac OS environments.
    • Networking skills equivalent to CCNA certification, with experience managing Palo Alto Firewalls.
    • Experience with Office365 platform management and MySQL/PostgreSQL database administration.
    • Experience with Intune/JAMF MDM, Microsoft XDR platforms, Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket Cloud administration.
    • Proficient in implementing and managing patch management systems, SSO technologies, and monitoring tools.
  • Soft Skills
    • Strong project management, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure (certifications preferred).
  • Relevant industry qualifications or a degree in a related field.
