Facilities Management Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Head of Estates to join our team at Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the operational estates service, ensuring seamless delivery of facilities management services to our internal and external clients.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with extensive experience in estates and facilities management, preferably in the public sector. They will be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of our clients.
The Deputy Head of Estates will play a key role in meeting our estates key performance indicators and contributing to the achievement of our cost improvement plans. They will work closely with the Head of Estates to manage all aspects of the day-to-day operational estates service, ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the operational estates service, ensuring seamless delivery of facilities management services
- Develop and implement strategies to improve estates performance and efficiency
- Lead a team of estates professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and service delivery
- Monitor and report on estates performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in estates and facilities management, preferably in the public sector
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality services
- Ability to develop and implement strategies to improve estates performance and efficiency
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to monitor and report on estates performance
