Our Graduate Programme

Our structured development programme is designed to support your well-rounded development as a graduate engineer. You will gain practical exposure to various aspects of engineering, including design, construction, and project management.

About the Role

As a graduate engineer, you will be embedded in our Project Management or Construction team and involved in various areas of major projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Engineering: Management and development of design and development of major projects, working alongside a large engineering design team.
  • Procurement: Ensuring scoping documents are suitable and compliant with project requirements, using engineering knowledge to provide support to procurement and commercial functions.
  • Project Management: As part of a team responsible for delivery of scope within the project, ensuring cost, programme, and quality assurance and compliance.
  • Construction: Ensuring compliance with H&S legislation and providing management/supervision of Contractors and Subcontractors on site.
  • Stakeholder: Engaging with various stakeholders involved in the delivery of a major project, requiring strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you should be studying for a relevant degree, preferably accredited by the IMechE, IET, or CIBSE, and aiming for a 2:2 or above. You should also have the ability to travel or drive to remote site locations if needed.
