About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Solutions Engineer to join our team at J Bandy Consulting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems. This includes developing and implementing automation scripts, monitoring application performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Evolution of DevOps Toolchain: Contribute to the development and refinement of our DevOps toolchain, promoting improvements to streamline the software delivery process and demonstrating these through metrics.
  • Application Design and Documentation: Responsible for producing and maintaining documentation relating to application design, integration processes, testing procedures, and deployment approach as well as collaborating with teams to create operational runbooks.
  • Integration with Domains: Collaborate with domains to plan, design, test, and maintain applications, and manage the preparation of runbooks.
Requirements
  • Expertise in SRE Best Practices: Proven experience and knowledge of SRE best practices.
  • Cloud Expertise: Demonstrable knowledge of cloud infrastructure.
  • Git and GitOps Expertise: Expertise in Git and GitOps.
  • Kubernetes Expertise: Expert knowledge of Kubernetes.
  • Effective Communication: Proficient ability to communicate in English (written and verbal).
Salary

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
