We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Designer/CDM Advisor to join our team at 1st Select Ltd.

About the Role:

  • Plan, manage, monitor, and coordinate health and safety in the pre-construction phase.
  • Take account of relevant information that might affect design work carried out before and after the construction phase has started.
  • Deliver services to clients within agreed timescales and budgets.
  • Manage key client relationships.
  • Have knowledge of Construction Design and Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement health and safety strategies.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and report on health and safety performance.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues on health and safety matters.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in a Principal Designer/CDM Advisor role.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
