We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dermatology Specialty Doctor to join our team at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will work closely with our Dermatology Consultants to provide exceptional care for patients presenting with dermatology problems in an outpatient and theatre environment.
The appointee will join our existing Dermatology medical team to:
- Support a comprehensive outpatient service within Dermatology
- Treat patients with ophthalmology conditions
- Continue clinical responsibility for patients in their charge
- Work with colleagues in other professions and support inter-disciplinary work
- Triage of patients and safely discharge patients, when appropriate
The job plan will be agreed with the successful candidate and will be based on a 10 PA working week. The appointed candidate would be expected to engage with the Dermatology Department delivery. Opportunities exist for flexible working, extended working day and expanding weekend working.
Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will have:
- Completed at least 4 years full-time postgraduate training (or equivalent gained on a part-time basis) or have equivalent experience and competencies.
At least 2 years' experience in Dermatology is essential.
