We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Agent to join our team working on the Eastern Green Link 2 project in Peterhead. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a prestigious project that will unlock the rich renewable energy capacity of Scotland and significantly increase the UK's capacity to deliver clean energy for around two million homes in the UK.
About the Project:
The Eastern Green Link 2 project aims to enhance the UK's electrical infrastructure. As a Site Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of this project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage site operations: Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Develop and implement project plans: Create detailed project plans, schedules, and methodologies.
- Coordinate with project teams: Work with Project Managers, Sub Agents, and other team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Oversee subcontractors and suppliers: Ensure all work complies with project specifications and standards.
- Conduct site inspections and audits: Maintain high standards of quality control.
- Implement health, safety, and environmental policies: Enforce policies on-site.
- Monitor project progress: Proactively address any issues or delays.
- Facilitate communication: Ensure effective communication between the site team, clients, and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Site Agent or in a similar senior supervisory role within large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Skills: Strong understanding of construction methods, engineering principles, and project management. Excellent leadership and organisational skills. Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools. A valid CSCS card and relevant health and safety certifications.
