IT Procurement Director

• Drive value through ensuring the commercial elements of spend in complex indirect procurement categories are executed brilliantly with vendors.
• Lead sourcing decisions with key stakeholders, enabled through a business partnering approach with the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and the IT Leadership Team.
• Apply and oversee category management to support the maximization of value, while minimizing risk from all external spend and assuring quality of delivery and performance.
• Challenge the ways of working with a focus on 'game-changers', leveraging scale and skill.
• Co-create a 3-year strategic plan with clear deliverables for the global procurement categories of IT, Telecoms & Network.
• Deliver savings targets that are procurement-led, support SOF initiatives across the category portfolio.
• Support the delivery and assignments of all procurement 'enabled' Shaping-our-Future (SOF) initiatives across the portfolio, including direct reports and wider procurement teams as necessary.
• Play an active role in the IT annual budget process.
• Maintain and review the records of procured IT products and services.
• Monitor and control unrolling contracts.
• Develop the Strategic Vendor Management Function to enable greater value, compliance, and identify & reduce risk.
• Be a trusted advisor to the regional procurement teams as required.
