We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Fire Engineer to join our team in London, Leeds, or Sheffield. As a key member of our fire safety consulting team, you will be responsible for implementing fire engineering services on our projects. Our team is sponsored by Arup Fire engineering teams located in 20 offices around the world.
You will work closely with our fire engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver a range of projects, from conceptual fire strategy development to handing over landmark projects in the built environment. This role offers the opportunity to travel to our 10 UK offices or further afield as projects require.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the implementation of fire engineering services on our projects.
- Work closely with our fire engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects.
- Manage junior engineers and be supported by the wider team as necessary.
- Travel to our 10 UK offices or further afield as projects require.
We are looking for a candidate with a degree in fire safety engineering or a relevant subject, and Chartered status with a relevant institution such as the Institution of Fire Engineers. You should have extensive exposure in delivering fire engineered solutions for UK-based projects and familiarity with appropriate legislation and design guidance for use in the UK.
