Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified Forensic Mental Health Specialist to join our team in Derbyshire, providing psychological assessments and therapeutic interventions to individuals with complex needs in a secure environment. Our ideal candidate will have a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

The estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role
As a Forensic Mental Health Specialist, you will conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for individuals with learning disabilities in a forensic setting, develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support rehabilitation and mental well-being, and provide therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based approaches. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care and best possible outcomes for patients. Additionally, you will provide psychological reports and documentation, offer support and supervision to junior staff, and contribute to research, audits, and the development of best practices within the service.

Key Requirements
- A Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Forensic Psychology, or equivalent
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
