Job Summary

Advance TRS seeks a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, managing financial aspects of Contracts, and collaborating with operational teams.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • HNC or equivalent in Quantity Surveying.
  • Degree qualification or studying towards RICS or equivalent (desirable but not mandatory).
  • Clean Driving Licence.
  • Ability to work within a delivery team with multiple drivers.
  • Experience in NEC3 or 4 Contracts with target cost, fixed price, and/or cost reimbursable mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Commercial Team in carrying out commercial and contractual duties.
  • Ensuring compliance with systems, processes, and procedures on Contracts.
  • Financial monitoring and reporting of Contracts assigned.
  • Assisting in the establishment of suitable construction contracts with clients.
  • Preparing accurate financial statements in respect of Contracts assigned.
  • Maintaining contemporary records for use in supporting claims, extensions of time, and evaluation of variations.
