Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemotherapy Nurse to join our team at Leaders in Care Recruitment Ltd. This Community Chemotherapy Nurse role offers a competitive salary of up to £42,640, a fully expensed company car, private healthcare cover, and more excellent benefits.

As a Community Chemotherapy Nurse, you will work in close partnership with the NHS, providing chemotherapy treatment in the comfort of patients' homes. You will oversee a caseload of approximately 2 to 3 patients per day, providing excellent standards of education and clinical care.

  • Work hours of Mon Fri / 8am 5:30pm
  • Be an ambassador for delivering patient-focused care, offering quality nursing that is tailored to the patients' needs
  • Ensure all clinical data is documented and adverse drug events reported via the correct protocol
  • Build long-lasting relationships with patients, carers and stakeholders to aid and support treatment and recovery

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC pin, a full UK driving license, and a background providing chemotherapy care. You will also need to hold a current SACT passport and be competent in the administration of cytotoxic drugs, cannulation, and clinical assessments.
