Job Summary:

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team in a Primary School setting. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of students in a dynamic and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons to students in KS1 and KS2 settings.
  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs, ensuring their inclusion and participation in class activities.
  • Monitor and maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents to ensure a smooth and productive learning experience.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Teaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in a UK school.
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable).
  • Right to Work in the UK.
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
  • Two professional child-related references.
