Surgical Nursing Specialist

There is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated staff nurse to join the team on a specialist ward, which provides high-quality care to patients pre and post-operatively. This is an excellent place to work to develop advanced surgical nursing skills and become part of a hardworking team.
We take a collaborative approach to ensure seamless patient care delivery. Our multidisciplinary team works together to provide a gold standard service to our patients and their relatives.
Main duties of the job:
The successful candidate will work in accordance with trust policies and procedures, displaying the UHNM trust values to ensure high-quality patient care. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are required, along with the ability to work effectively within a team, collaborating with the nursing team, the wider multidisciplinary team, and specialist nurses.
The ideal candidate will be a compassionate nurse with excellent time management and sound clinical judgment to care for patients pre and post-operatively, displaying necessary clinical knowledge.
