About This Role

We are currently recruiting for experienced Registered Nurses, Physiotherapists, and Occupational Therapists to join our team in Ipswich. As a Medical Assessor, you will play a crucial role in assessing the eligibility of individuals for Personal Independent Payments or Employment and Support Allowance.

You will work closely with our clients to understand the customer's needs and provide accurate and thorough assessments. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a fast-paced environment, working with a diverse range of customers and clinical conditions.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Conduct thorough assessments of individuals to determine their eligibility for Personal Independent Payments or Employment and Support Allowance
  2. Work closely with our clients to understand the customer's needs and provide accurate and thorough assessments
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients and other stakeholders
  4. Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and guidelines related to disability assessment

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in Nursing, Physiotherapy, or Occupational Therapy
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a patient-facing role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Highly literate with attention to detail
