Job Title: Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a post 16 student who requires support with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to the student in a 1:1 setting
  • Assist the student with daily tasks and activities
  • Help the student develop social and emotional skills
  • Collaborate with the student's teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive support plan

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with complex needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle

Working Environment:

The school is based in Southampton on the outskirts of the New Forest. The successful candidate will be required to drive a staff car between sites based in Totton and New Milton with the student.
