Our client is a young woman in her late 20s, residing with her mother.
She requires assistance from a care team to address her complex clinical needs, as she is unable to move independently. We offer specialized 1:1 and 2:1 care around the clock.
Her interests include horses, and she enjoys engaging with her family, friends, and care team.
Creating a supportive atmosphere for her is crucial, as is encouraging her to pursue her hobbies and participate in social activities.
This role is not only rewarding but also provides an opportunity to enhance your skills and experience while delivering exceptional care that significantly impacts her daily life.
Key Responsibilities
During daytime hours, you will assist with personal care, mobility support, and address her clinical requirements. You will also provide companionship to ensure her comfort and happiness.
During nighttime, your duties will include personal care, repositioning, clinical monitoring, and attending to any medical needs to ensure a restful night.
Available Shifts
We currently offer a variety of shifts, including:
- Part-Time Day and Sleep Shifts
- 1 Day per week - 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- Pop-in Calls: Mornings, Afternoons, and Evenings
- Sleep-in Shifts: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Compensation
Weekdays: £ per hour (approximately £156 for a 12-hour shift)
Weeknights: £ per hour (approximately £162 for a 12-hour shift)
Weekends: £ per hour (approximately £ for a 12-hour shift)
Bank Holidays: £ per hour (approximately £ for a 12-hour shift)

Role Requirements
The role of a Support Care Specialist involves working independently in the home of the client, providing care and support that includes personal, social, and domestic assistance while adhering to the individual care plan.
The primary goal is to enable clients to remain safely in their homes with as much independence as possible.
In addition to providing care in a professional, discreet, and compassionate manner, it is crucial to uphold the client's right to privacy and dignity.
Experience Required
Essential
- Minimum of 3 months' experience in care
- Medication administration
- Personal care
- Mobility assistance
- Valid driver's license
Desirable
- Experience in spinal injury management
- Catheter care
- Cough assist
- Understanding of autonomic dysreflexia
