Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Oceaneering. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing the procurement process for project-specific termination hardware and other commodities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the procurement process for project-specific termination hardware and other commodities.

• Work under limited supervision as an individual contributor.

• Apply broad knowledge of the supply chain professional discipline with minimal supervision.

• Build relationships within and across teams and provide effective communication and listening skills.

• Involvement in supply chain strategy and approach, aiding towards global goals and objectives.

• Deliver aggressive year-on-year savings targets against project budgets, in line with procedures.

• Manage intercompany transactions and inventory movements ensuring deadlines are met.

• Support the internal project life cycle governance process and the monitoring of project budgets v actuals.

• Supplier selection and negotiations including terms and conditions, incoterms, payment terms, pricing, and service levels.

Requirements

• Strong negotiation skills.

• Business degree and/or certification relating to the job requirement.

• Extensive demonstrable experience in a Buyer role within a manufacturing company.
