Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Oceaneering. As a key member of our Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for maximizing purchasing power to improve competitive edge and deliver best value, price, quality, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, lead, and manage the procurement process for project-specific termination hardware and other commodities as required.
  • Apply broad knowledge of the supply chain professional discipline to drive business results.
  • Build relationships within and across teams and provide effective communication and listening skills.
  • Deliver aggressive year-on-year savings targets against project budgets, in line with procedures.
  • Manage intercompany transactions and inventory movements, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Support the internal project life cycle governance process and monitor project budgets versus actuals.
  • Participate in HSE Core Processes and Awareness initiatives.

Requirements

  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Business degree and/or certification relating to the job requirement
  • Extensive demonstrable experience in a Buyer role within a manufacturing company
