Key Responsibilities- Support the internal bookkeeping team in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Conduct bookkeeping and data processing for the Firm's clients using Sage 50 Accounts and Xero
- Manage purchase and sales ledgers, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions
- Prepare VAT returns and other financial reports as required
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues through telephone and email
- Visit client premises to liaise directly with clients and provide bookkeeping services
- Develop and maintain bookkeeping skills under supervision, staying up-to-date with industry developments
- Previous bookkeeping experience is essential, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in using Xero, Sage, and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to learn new software and systems
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving, with excellent analytical and communication skills
