Solicitor for Private Client Services

We are seeking a dedicated Solicitor specializing in Private Client Services to join our esteemed team at Number Fifteen Recruitment. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage in a well-established role within our Private Client Department.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting and executing Wills tailored to client needs.
- Managing the administration of Estates for both corporate and individual clients.
- Providing expert advice on Lifetime and Post-Death Tax Planning.
- Facilitating Lasting Powers of Attorney and related documentation.
- Handling Court of Protection Orders with diligence.
- Professional Development: This role presents an excellent opportunity to enhance your skills and contribute to the growth of a forward-thinking and expanding firm.
- Marketing Involvement: You will also play an active role in the firm’s marketing initiatives, including article writing, public relations, business development, and networking activities.
- Approximately 3 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE).
- Preferred qualifications include STEP or SFE, though not mandatory.
- Proficient understanding of Will preparation, including asset protection and tax mitigation strategies.
- Knowledge of inheritance, capital gains, and income tax principles as they relate to estate planning.
- Experience with trust formation, administration, and taxation, as well as estate administration and deeds of variation.
- Expertise in preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney, particularly for elderly clients.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a demanding workload efficiently.
- Exceptional written communication skills, utilizing clear and correct grammar.
- A collaborative team player with a balance of technical proficiency and commercial insight.
- Proficient in IT and possess strong interpersonal skills.
