About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team at the Department for Business and Trade. As a key member of our finance function, you will play a critical role in supporting our senior stakeholders in making informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial analysis and support to business areas, including budget profiling and forecasting.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the business, including policy and delivery colleagues.
  • Prepare and present high-quality reports to inform decision-making.
  • Contribute to the development of financial policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the wider finance function to ensure seamless delivery of financial services.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
  • Relevant professional finance qualification or experience.
