Job Title: Senior Principal Scientist - Analytical Science

SRG is seeking a highly experienced Senior Principal Scientist to join our client's Pharmaceutical Development team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving excellence in analytical science provision and ensuring the company's analytical science capabilities are aligned with global regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement analytical methods for drug products, ensuring they meet global regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior analytical staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technical advances in analytical science and introduce new technologies into the business as appropriate.
  • Support the growth of the business by providing technical consultancy and advice to clients, scientific guidance to internal staff, and support to business development activities.

Requirements:

  • PhD in a relevant field and over 5 years' experience in pharmaceutical sciences and drug development, or a bachelor's degree and over 10 years' experience.
  • Experience of progressing analytical components of drug projects through different development phases, including discovery to launch.
  • Strong understanding of ICH quality guidelines and global CMC regulatory requirements.
