About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs in a primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities
  • Providing 1:1 support to pupils with SEN
  • Assisting with reading, writing, and maths activities
  • Developing and implementing strategies to support pupils with SEN
  • Collaborating with the class teacher and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN
  • Strong understanding of special educational needs and strategies to support pupils
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced school environment
