Job Title: Adult Care Assistant/Support Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adult Care Assistant/Support Worker to join our team in a unique supported tenancy for two adults with complex needs. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality support to enable our service users to live their lives as independently as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centered support to adults with complex needs, including those with autism, dementia, and learning disabilities.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Support service users with seizure care and use of hoists.
  • Establish and maintain good daily routines and provide emotional support to service users.
  • Work collaboratively with the manager, team, and family members to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with adults with complex needs.
  • Experience in, or willingness to undertake training in PEG feeding, epilepsy, and moving and handling.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Registration under the PVG scheme.
  • Full driving license.
  • SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (desirable).
