Job Title: Year 6 Teaching Assistant
Location: Garstang | Full-Time
About the Role:
- Support Year 6 pupils in small groups and one-to-one sessions
- Assist with planning, delivering, and assessing lessons
- Collaborate with teachers, SEN staff, and parents to support pupil progress
- Help prepare students for SATs and their transition to secondary school
Your Skills and Experience:
- Experience working with upper Key Stage 2 (Year 6 preferred)
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and SATs preparation
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Patient, approachable, and committed to pupil development
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies
