Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive SEN 1:1 teaching assistant to support a child with Autism and global development delay at Supply Desk.

About the Job

This challenging role involves supporting a child with severe and complex learning difficulties, requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience or a strong interest in working with individuals with special needs, specifically children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Global Development Delay.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support a child with severe and complex learning difficulties
  • Collaborate with the school team to ensure all children achieve the best results possible
  • Design and implement individualized education plans
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in working with individuals with special needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Adaptability and openness to new experiences
